About Our Board
Terri Gleich, President
Terri is an active parent volunteer and has extensive experience fundraising to bring educational opportunities to children. Terri served on the Vinland Elementary PTSA from 2006-2010. She oversaw the Vinland Community Field Project from 2007-2009,created the annual Pennies for Peace public service project and received the Washington State PTA Golden Acorn Award as Vinland Elementary’s Outstanding Volunteer. She currently volunteers at Suquamish Elementary and Poulsbo Middle School.
Glen Robbins, Vice-President
As a graduate of North Kitsap High School,Glen has lived and worked in North Kitsap most of his life. He was employed as an elementary principal and a Gifted Education Liaison in North Kitsap School District from 2007-1010 and he currently substitutes for the district. Glen is the past-president of the Bainbridge Island Education Association and was on the Washington Education Board of Directors.
Mary Corbett, Treasurer
Mary has resided in North Kitsap since 1989 and worked in accounting in the private and public sector for more than 20 years. She now is an accountant for Westerra Homes,LLC, in Kingston. Mary holds a B.A. degree in Languages. She has volunteered as a mentor for NK Success at North Kitsap High School and has hosted foreign exchange students.
Shannon Singleton, Secretary Shannon settled in the North Kitsap area with her husband and two children in 2001. She has been an active parent volunteer at Breidablik Elementary School since 2003, participating in a variety of PTSA, art docent and classroom programs. In this role, she has enjoyed the opportunities to observe and learn from highly skilled teachers and be inspired by dedicated and tireless parents and staff. Currently, Shannon balances her time between two jobs, one as a Speech/Language Pathologist for the Central Kitsap School District and one as family logistics manager, driver and cheerleader for her children.
Michele Laboda Michele has volunteered on the district’s Capital Facilities Advisory Committee,helped with several school levy and bond election campaigns and was part of the search committee to hire the Kingston High School principal. As part of her job at North Kitsap Fire &Rescue,Michele helps educates elementary students from Suquamish, Wolfle and Gordon about bicycle,child passenger and fire safety. Michele has also served on the board for the North Kitsap Boys and Girls Club and the Kingston Community Center/Village Green Foundation.
Colleen Prichard
Colleen has lived in North Kitsap for 13 years and works as a special education para-educator at Breidablik Elementary. She served as a parent volunteer at Poulsbo Elementary for 7 years, helping out with the Roving Reader Program and organizing the 3rd and 4th grade parent volunteer math program. She also was the Poulsbo Middle School Music Booster President and has organized many fundraising events to benefit the music program, including raising money for instruments and field trips.
